 Orphans who have been adopted

1.02.2010 A boy named Misha M. (Orel region, 11 years old) has arrived at the Department of Traumatology and Orthopedics. The boy is very sociable and likes to see new people.
5.03.2010 Misha has completed his treatment and returned to the orphanage. He needed only one surgical operation.
1.02.2010 Vlad K., a 14-year-old boy from the Orel region, has been admitted to the Deparment of Traumatology and Orthopedics for the final stage of treatment. The boy is independent, quiet, yet not shy: he has quickly gotten acquainted with other children from his department and easily gets into contact with adults, too.
5.03.2010 Vlad has completed his treatment at the Department of Traumatology and Orthopedics and left the hospital for two months. He will arrive here again in May, but this time at the Department of Neurosurgery.
Pasha N., 10 years old, from the Lipetsk region, has been admitted to the Department of Traumatology and Orthopedics. He will spend a long time there: the boy is to undergo a serious surgical operation with subsequent rehabilitation.
Pasha is interested in everything around him. He likes to discover something new as often as possible.
This wonderful boy's arms and legs do not work properly. However, he learned to draw holding a marker or a pencil in his teeth, and the results are excellent.
See the postcard with New Year greetings that Pasha has made:
Natasha G., 10 years old, from the Lipetsk region, has been admitted to the Department of Traumatology and Orthopedics.
Natasha likes being photographed. She is never sad, and there is always a radiant smile on her face.
Dima E., 6 years old, from the Lipetsk region, has been admitted to the Department of Traumatology and Orthopedics. The boy is active and sociable, yet very polite and helpful. He likes to talk to physicians and nurses and asks about everything. And his kind, shy smile has charmed all mothers at his hospital department.
Ilya N., 6 years old, from the Lipetsk region, has been admitted to the Department of Traumatology and Orthopedics. He is a kind and obedient boy, likes playing board games and games with toy cars, quickly makes friends with other children.
10.12.2009 A new patient of the Department of Ophthalmology is Rodion R. (12 years old), another child from the Orel region. The child is sociable and willing to know a lot. He has quickly made friends with other children and volunteers. It is his first visit to Moscow, and he is interested in everything.
12.01.2010 Rodion R. has been discharged after a successful surgical operation on his eyes. The entire department dearly loved the boy. He got a radio controlled toy car as the New Year present and was just amazed by it. Now the boy is completely all right. See his new photograph here.

16.11.2009 Nikita, an eight-year-old boy, arrived at the Russian Children's Clinical Hospital together with the first group of children from the Orel region. He is presently a patient of the Department of Thoracic Surgery. This sociable and polite boy was very much unlike his friends from the orphanage. It turned out that Nikita had lost his parents only recently...
Nikita is in his second school year. He reads a lot and likes maths most of all. He has immediately made friends with other children from his hospital department. He also visits all art classes. He likes to speak with adults and never complains, although it is clear that there is deep inner sadness in this smiling boy.
16.11.2009 The second group of eight orphans from the Orel region arrived at the hospital within the You Are Not Alone program. The children are undergoing treatment at the Departments of Endocrinology, Maxillofacial and Thoracic Surgery.
22.10.2009 Eight children from the Orel region were admitted to the Russian Children's Clinical Hospital within the You Are Not Alone program. This is the first group out of 26 patients who have received recommendations for treatment at our hospital during our specialists' recent visit to Orel. Four children are presently at the Department of Gynecology, one child at the Department of Thoracic Surgery, one at Coloproctology, one at Psychoneurology, and one at Dermatoallergology. The children did not want to tell their names to readers of our website and agreed only to be photographed together.
17.11.2009 Five out of eight children have been discharged from hospital.
25.08.2009 Valera T. (8 years old, Belgorod region) has been admitted to the Department of Microvascular Surgery No. 2. He is to have a surgical intervention. This boy is sociable and smart, capable of putting together any jigsaw puzzle, even a very complex one. Probably he may become an engineer. However, he has not been properly taught, and therefore he still reads and writes with difficulty! A volunteer will help him cope with this problem.
8.10.2009 Valera has recovered after the operation and left the hospital. He is to arrive for a check-up in February 2010.
25.08.2009 Andrei Sh. (14 years old, Lipetsk region) has been admitted to the Department of Traumatology. This boy moves about in a wheelchair but manages to depend only on himself and copes with everything in his everyday life.
21.01.2010 Andrei Sh. is going to have follow-up surgery at the Department of Traumatology and Orthopedics. After the recent preparative surgery, the boy has started learning to walk on crutches. The surgeons say that this skill will promote rehabilitation after the future radical operation and allow Andrei to start walking on his own in a shorter time.
25.08.2009 Dasha M. (8 years old, Chelyabinsk region) has been admitted to the Department of Microvascular Surgery No. 2. The girl will spent a long time at our hospital, because she has serious problems with her health. At the hospital department, she is to undergo a major surgical intervention on her legs with subsequent prosthetics.
26.09.2009 After in-hospital treatment, Dasha was transferred to our new rehabilitation center for orphan patients, where she will undergo rehabilitation.
