My son Ivan Kuzmin, 17 years old, needs your help. I have been raising him all by myself since his birth. I am the only person with any earnings in our small family, and I also have to support my old parents. The disaster struck in June 2008. My son was diagnosed with acute lymphocytic leukemia. I had to quit my job, because I take care of my son at the hospital. And our life is very hard now, since there are no sources of income at all: in Russia, mothers cannot get a paid disability leave if their ill child is over fifteen... Now we are at the Russian Children's Clinical Hospital, Department of Oncohematology. For further treatment, my son should have an Ommaya reservoir installed at the Burdenko Institute of Neurosurgery. This procedure will cost 86,000 roubles ($3375). Please help us!
