My son Usman Metrishev is a gravely ill child. He is seventeen.
He loves playing football and played for his school in our native
city of Grozny. Later, he wanted to try taekwondo, but suddenly
he felt worse. There are no specialized medical centers in Grozny
now, and we went to Nalchik, another city in North Caucasus. The doctors
diagnosed aplastic anemia. We were admitted to the Russian Children's
Clinical Hospital in Moscow on May 30. At first we were at the Department of
Oncohematology, then, from June 30, at the Department of Marrow
Transplantation. I have three children, and I have no job now,
because I must always be with my ill son. We need your support and
help, since we have no money for expensive drugs and just for everyday life.
The hospital helps us, yes, and we are grateful, but this is not enough.
After all, they have many patients, and everybody needs something. Our only
hope is your understanding and support. Presently we need two packs of
Vifend. It is a very expensive drug. These two packs cost 62,000 roubles
($2340).
Yours respectfully
Aishat Metrisheva

Head of the Department of Oncohematology-27 Natalia V. Myakova:
"Since Vifend is currently lacking at the Russian Children's
Clinical Hospital, we ask you to buy 30 capsules of this drug for
patient Usman Metrishev.
